As the Center's Program Administrative Assistant, Brian is responsible for the
Center's grants accounting and maintenance, and office management. Brian
is a twelve-year veteran employee of Emory and began his service with Accounts
Payable as a payment processor in 1995.
He earned a B.S. degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. and
continues to take postgraduate courses in financial accounting, business technology,
consulting and information systems, as well as various technology programs such as
SQL, Microsoft Office, MS Access and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
Brian lives with his wife Linda of twelve years and his ten-year-old son Nicolas and
seven-year-old daughter Morgan in Lithonia, Ga.
Rather than retire, Brian would like to own an online music store of vintage
oldies, from R&B, Jazz to Classic Rock. He still collects old 45's and LP's of
legendary artist, such as James Brown, The Eagles, Miles Davis, The Beatles,
Three Dog Night, The Staple Singers, just to name a few of many. Brian loves
sharing music. He believes that satellite music is the next best thing to "sliced bread".
