| After Juan is diagnosed with cancer, he finds it odd that other people he worked with on the construction site last summer are diagnosed as well. After careful investigation, he finds out more about cancer than he could have ever imagined. In Deadly Plants, students will explore a diverse array of topics including botany, plant classification, fungi, cancer, geography, the environment and society, and workplace hazards and risks. | |
