Summary:
Is it possible to tile a chessboard with two missing corners with dominoes? The answer depends on which two corners are removed. Here we use this classical puzzle to introduce the notion of proofs in mathematics. The problem is presented in a real situation where Sylvain and Katy plan on opening a bakery and discuss the best choice for an oven.
