SURE Program: Selection Process
SURE applications are due on February of each year. Each application is reviewed by a committee.
Emory applicants are ranked against the Emory applicant pool. External applicants, in turn, compete against other external applicants.
Typically, we receive around 400 complete applications each year (combined pool for Emory and external applicants).
Program size fluctuates from ~60-100 students and depends on active grants and on the generous contributions of individual faculty members.
Applications are due in early February. Offers are made in the month of March and April. All applicants are notified of their final status by April 15 of each year.
