Dr. Joseph
McCray, Biology, Morehouse prepared a tutorial for his honors
introductory biology course on transition state stabilization as
the basic mechanism for enzyme action. Joseph was our in-house expert
on molecular modeling with RasMol and Chime. He will add other tutorials
using Chime and Rasmol this summer. His Biochemistry students have
long completed exercises and assignments using RasMol; he will now
add Chime tools to that course as well. He hopes to add student
projects to his course page as part of the "digital legacy" we talked
about in the seminar. Joe will present his work in a division wide
two-day workshop this summer.
