Dr. Paul Musey, Biology, CAU worked on Introductory Biochemistry content development. He decided to focus on development of online study aids for a one semester Introductory Biochemistry Course for sophomore and junior students. During the seminar, he delighted in learning to use Dreamweaver to create freestanding web materials for the first two modules of this course. This summer, he will add class lectures materials and PowerPoint presentations. Students may download the PowerPoint slides onto their desktop or view them online with a browser. A gallery of interactive templates provided by CourseBuilder/Dreamweaver from Macromedia will be used to create multiple-choice, drag-and-drop and fill-in-the-blanks type questions for review. Interactive chat rooms and construction of Metabolic Pathways will be built into the site. Molecular models that made the biochemistry more visual was Paul's favorite part. He is also planning a multi-disciplinary environmental course on Radiation BioEffects. He will adapt materials for this course to the web also.
