Dates: June 16–20, 2003
The workshop is designed for high school teachers.
Although most teachers will likely be biology and chemistry instructors,
we also welcome non-science teachers who can demonstrate how they
intend to incorporate subject matter into their lesson plans.
Participants will receive $100 per day (no taxes
or benefits deducted) and are expected to attend all sessions from
Monday until Friday, 8:30 am – 5pm. Breakfast and lunch will
be served.
Teachers will receive an additional $200 when they incorporate workshop
materials into their lessons (fall or spring semesters).
The Evolution workshop will be held in the Math
and Science Center, Room 507,
Emory University. The Math and Science Center is to the right of
the parking lot, behind Atwood
Hall (the chemistry building), next to the B. Jones Building. The
Math and Science Center is "Building 120" on this printable
campus map.
