Elie Wiesel Ethics Essay Contest
Open to undergraduates in US and Canada. December deadline.

Office of Research Integrity Internship
ORI seeks graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in devoting 3 months to a year to working on a project related to research integrity or research misconduct. Students may be from a range of disciplines including the social sciences, the behavioral sciences, computer science, education, English or journalism. Potential projects include, but are not limited to: research, educational resources, website development, conference/workshop planning, publications, database development, audio/visual projects. Interested individuals may suggest projects. ORI will provide office space and project support, but there is no stipend. Center for Ethics in Public Policy & the Professions at Emory University
The Center for Ethics in Public Policy and the Professions (CEPPP) exists to enrich moral imagination, to deepen knowledge of ethics, and to encourage lives of moral meaning and ethical practice as expressed in the personal, professional, and public roles of Emory University's members and constituencies. The Center's programs involve faculty, students, staff, and administrators of Emory University, as well as alumni, business and professional groups, and the public in the Atlanta area and beyond. Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania
The Center's mission is to "advance scholarly and public understanding of ethical, legal, social and public policy issues in health care" Topics include cloning and the law, physician assited suicide and ethics in genetics.

Online Ethics
Covers topics such as Ethics in Research, Moral Leaders, Problem Solving, Ethics in a Coporate Seting and provides links to Instructional Resources.

Bioethics Discussion Pages
Moderated by Maurice Bernstein, M.D. Contains information relative to current issues in bioethics, including such topics as the Supreme Court's ruling on Physician Assisted Suicide, cloning of humans, becoming a mother at age 63, etc.

National Bioethics Advisory Committee (NBAC)
The NBAC advises and makes recommendations to appropriate government entities, including the National Science and Technology Council, regarding the appropriateness of programs and regulations with respect to bioethical issues of human and behavioral research. The NBAC also identifies broad principles to govern ethical research.

The National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature (NRCBL)
The National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature is a specialized collection of books, journals, newspaper articles, legal materials, regulations, codes, government publications, and other relevant documents concerned with contemporary biomedical issues in the fields of ethics, philosophy, medicine, science, law, religion, and the social sciences.

MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics
The MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago consists of an interdisciplinary group of professionals who study and teach about practical ethical concerns confronting patients and health care professionals. The Center's core faculty of physicians, nurses, legal scholars, and social scientists direct the medical ethics education at the University of Chicago and provide ethics consultation to the University of Chicago Hospitals, local community hospitals, and the media.

Poynter Center
An ethics research center at the University of Inidiana with web pages covering a variety of topics including Teaching Research Ethics, the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics and Ethics and the Educated Person.

Survival Skills and Ethics Program
Provides training and resources to assist professionals in the development of the "survival skills" needed for success in research and related careers, including publishing, obtaining funding, teaching, mentoring etc.
