Preparatory Research and Education Program (PREP)
Assists in the preparation of Atlanta Public Schools high school students for college entrance and studies in mathematics and science.

Scholastic Testing Enrichment Program (STEP)
Academic enrichment program for 12th grade students at Booker T. Washington High School.

Georgia Science Olympiad (GSO)
GSO is an opportunity to compete and test your science and math skills. There are four divisions: Kindergarden - 3rd grade, 3rd grade - 5th grade, 6th grade - 9th grade and 9th grade - 12th grade.

Spelman College Howard Hughes Summer Science Program
The program curriculum is designed to provide participants with an integrative science education experience. Students will enhance their skills in using mathematics and computers to interpret scientific data. The curriculum also includes an introduction to statistics and/or bioinformatics principles and software. In addition, participants will gain hands-on experience in the use of analytical assays and laboratory equipment. For rising high school seniors.

Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing - Student Programs
CEISMC seeks to create a coordinated set of programs and services that reflect and promote national standards for science and mathematics education at the pre-college level. CEISMC is providing statewide leadership in the systemic improvement of science and mathematics in K-12 education for all students, particularly those typically under-served in these disciplines. This is achieved by promoting challenging mathematics, science, and technology-based learning experiences; collaboration with key partners in business, education, government and the community; and modeling of effective classroom practices, technology integration, and continuous evaluation.

Georgia Tech  School of Biology Summer Program
Provides lectures, demonstrations and hands-on experiments that challenge rising juniors and seniors from area high schools, giving many of them a taste for scientific research. Provides opportunities to women and minorities, groups historically under-represented in the fields of science, mathematics and engineering. The intensive experience spans several fields of biology and is designed to inspire and motivate high-school students to pursue careers in the biological sciences.

Emory Summer Science Academy
A program for students interested in discovering and understanding more about the wonders of science are busy honing their scientific. The program, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs in Emory University School of Medicine, is designed to provide middle school and high school students the opportunity to develop a better understanding of science and to create an environment that is conducive to learning, motivating and strengthening students' knowledge of science.
