American Medical Student Association
One of the things that premedical and undergraduate students excel at is having the ambition and drive to get involved, down and dirty and diving head first into opportunities to make a difference and see something new. For over 50 years, AMSA has been serving the needs of physicians in training. Premedical students are most certainly physicians-in-training and are encouraged to join the AMSA.

UA College of Medicine Pre-Med Summer Program
The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson offers a summer program to improve students skills in critical early stages of their pre-medical studies. MCAT preparation, improving verbal and written skills. Intended for students in their first two years of college or attending a community college. Also targeted toward students who are first in their family to attend college or first in their extended family to pursue a career in medicine or a member of an ethnic minority that is underrepresented in medicine or from a medically underserved rural or urban community.
