Jormell Bland (AP Chemistry) of Booker
T. Washington High School worked with Dr. Daphe Norton (Emory University)
to create and conduct lab experiments. These hands-on units for
Mrs. Bland's AP Chemistry students include recycling aluminum to
create alumnium by-products, analyzing the strength of new compounds,
and testing for presence of additional chemicals within the creation
of the new compounds. She also made videos of herself doing the
experiments.
