You Too, Can Be Rid of the Flu
Loretta Cain

To communities worldwide:

What:

After centuries of research, a successful vaccine for influenza has been developed.
More importantly it is and will remain free of charge. Yes, I am implying a worldwide eradication of the “flu.”
A flu virus is roughly spherical, but can also be elongated or irregularly shaped. Inside the virus, eight segments of single-stranded RNA contain the genetic instructions for making the virus. There are two different types of spikes on the virus, HA and NA. The HA molecule allows the virus to stick to a cell while initiating infection, while the NA molecules allows newly formed viruses to exit their host cell without sticking to the cell surface or to each other.

Who, When, & Where:

Exactly two days ago at Hu-Sang University in China, Loretta Cain Ph.D., Associate Dean of Emory Immunology Department stumbled upon a vaccine for influenza through strategic methods using black wild mice.

How: How does the vaccination works?

The vaccine contains a mutated form of influenza and its HA molecule which binds to the HA molecule of the virus and seals each HA molecule with a bubble, preventing the spikes to stick to other cells, therefore, preventing initial infection. This HA molecule also pierces the virus after it’s spikes are bubble.

The vaccine is available at all local clinics and hospitals. “You, too can be rid of the flu.”
