THE FOLLOWING TABLE OUTLINES APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR
EMORY AND VISITING STUDENTS:
Atlanta
University Center and Oxford College students may submit proposals
along with their applications. Simply complete the non-Emory application
as described (form, essay, transcript, letter of recommendation
from science mentor) then attach a research proposal and support
letter from faculty mentor. These proposals should be developed
following the guidelines for Emory applicants.

typed, that follows the Research Proposal Guildelines (guidelines

ABOUT FILE TYPES:
You may download application files in one of two formats:
- .rtf - This file is compatible with a wide
variety of operating systems. Your word processing program should
be able to open this file and you should be able to type the information
directly into the form, then print the completed form.
- .pdf - The file in pdf format can be opened
using Acrobat Reader(tm). Most browsers will launch this program
if available. You
can download the Acrobat Reader here.
If you have problems downloading any documents, contact
us. In your message, please indicate the computer platform are
using (e.g., Mac, Windows, Unix) and also indicate the version of
the web browser you were using. This information can help us pinpoint
the source of the problem.

NOTIFICATION
DEADLINES:
All
applicants will be notified on the status of their application
by e-mail by April 15, 2008. We will attempt to update applicants
via e-mail as materials are received.
